Nursing Assistant Program

This program covers a 60-hour class/skills lab and a 40-hour clinical application conducted in a medical setting. Students who wish to enlist in our programs don't need to have practical experience and are not required to take prerequisite courses.


The EKG program will prepare you to become an EKG technician, which involves monitoring and recording electrical impulses transmitted by the heart. The course includes hands-on labs and practice with EKG equipment This course includes important practice and background information on the basic anatomy and physiology of the heart, medical disease processes, medical terminology, medical ethics, legal aspects of patient contact, electrocardiography, and stress testing.

Medication Aide

This course is designed to teach the safe administration of medications to health care workers.  Students are trained to give routine medications to patients in all healthcare settings.
Medication Aide distributes patient medications in nursing homes, or non-hospital assisted-living facilities. Medication aides usually are directly supervised by doctors or other licensed caretakers. Aides typically assist patients in properly taking oral, topical or intravenous medication in correct
dosages and must adhere to strict medical protocol. These professionals also supervise patients to ensure they do not have any adverse reactions after taking their medications and must keep comprehensive records of all medications administered to each patient.

Patient Care Technician COMING SOON

As a patient care technician (PCT), you will have daily hands-on experiences with patients by helping them with procedures such as ADL’s taking vital signs, blood draws, and much more.You’ll work in settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, dialysis facilities and home health care agencies.

Phlebotomy Technician COMING SOON

The Phlebotomy Technician will provide a foundation in health care careers, communication, soft skills, computers, and anatomy and physiology. Students will develop the basic skills necessary to perform phlebotomy procedures utilized in hospital settings, clinical facilities, and physician's
offices. Phlebotomy Technician work in hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities drawing blood from patients in preparation for medical testing.
